Is my material guaranteed to be kept confidential? How many people will have access to my dictated materials? We are happy to sign any nondisclosure agreements that are necessary. We understand the sensitivity of your information whether you mark it as "CONFIDENTIAL" or not. All of our transcriptionists are bound by a nondisclosure agreement with us in order to ensure that your information is kept private. Upon transfer, the only person who can access your information is the account holder (you), unless you authorize Transcribe It Quick to reopen your work for any changes or reconstruction that you may need.

Is there any sort of form or paperwork that I need to submit with my electronic/digital dictation? In the spirit of "Keeping It Simple" we require no special forms or paperwork when you submit digital dictation. Simply register with Transcribe It Quick, answer a few questions, and upload your digital files. If there are format requests or other pertinent information, such as name spellings, etc., there is a notes section that is available for your use. Of course, we are always available by email or telephone to clarify any questions you may have regarding your uploaded files.

How does the billing process work? You are billed per audio minute (not per line or per time spent transcribing your product). This allows you, the customer, to know exactly what you will be spending before you send us your dictation. We will, if requested, consider a discount pricing for extremely large jobs or jobs that are going to be repeat business. We want you, the customer, to be happy and therefore we would rather charge you less, do it more quickly, get it right, have you be happy and then we can eliminate the large overhead charges that other companies have in advertising and billing, not to mention an outrageous overhead. You, the customer, are our very best source of word-of-mouth advertising and we would rather have that than your money!!!

What forms of payment do you accept? Transcribe It Quick accepts payment through PayPal. This is a very secure mediator for transactions. Upon completion of your transcription you will be invoiced by PayPal. You then have the option of paying the invoice either with a major credit card, debit card or through your bank account (virtual Check). If you choose the latter, you will be required to become a verified PayPal member (an easy, three step process). This means that at no time will Transcribe It Quick have access to any client financial information. The only exception to the PayPal payment plan will be as agreed upon between the Client (you) and Transcribe It Quick prior to the beginning of transcription.

Is there a limit to the size of a project that you can undertake? Our transcriptionists are working on a per diem basis. For that reason, we are able to take on any sized job, as our transcription pool is almost endless. We do, however, request that you contact us regarding any project that is over six audio hours long, to allow us to make special arrangements to make sure we can accommodate your needs. Our transcriptions are screened thoroughly and tested on a regular basis. With specialists in medical, technical and legal transcription on staff, as well as administrative transcriptionists, we can take on any job, big or small.

What format of audio will you transcribe? We are happy to transcribe any format that truly can be transcribed. Digital files are the easiest to work with, as you can simply upload your dictation, resulting a much quicker turn-around time. We do understand that there are situations where a tape recording, CD or video is necessary and are happy to transcribe that for you, also. Please contact us if you need to send physical media. Transcribe It Quick suggests that you send a copy of your media, as we will do our best to return your original (at your expense), however make no guarantee that we will be able to do so and please remember that this shipping method requires a longer turn-around time for your material to get to you.

How will I receive my completed dictation? As soon as your dictation is transcribed, we will inform you by e-mail that it is finished and send you a "thumbnail" of your actual work. This will consist of a very small portion of your dictation, to ensure that you are getting back the work that you have sent to us. Along with this thumbnail will be instructions on how to remit payment (an easy process be done in as little as four minutes right on your computer using the safety of PayPal). Upon receipt of payment, we will immediately send you an email and you can log back into your account, download your file and print it at your leisure.
